Kapeesh Filament Private Limited is a yarn texturizing and circular knitting company in Silvassa, running both stages of the process ourselves rather than sourcing yarn blind.
We knit a wide range of fabrics on one floor, working with cationic, micro, bright and full-dull yarns among others, matched to what each buyer needs.
Running texturizing and knitting under one roof means fewer hands on the yarn and tighter control over the finished fabric. Buyers trust Kapeesh for consistent quality and a wide range of designs, order after order.
Kapeesh Filament is based in Silvassa. We also work through two subsidiary firms, listed below.
What started as a single texturizing unit is now a 125+ machine knitting floor, without ever handing quality off to someone else's yarn.
Kapeesh Filament started as a pure yarn texturizing unit: drawing, twisting and heat-setting filament yarn, nothing else on the floor.
TFO machines were added alongside the texturizing lines, and the two ran together for the next several years.
The TFO plant was shut down and replaced with our first batch of circular knitting machines, the expansion that turned us into a knitting company.
125+ circular knitting machines added since, spanning different specs, gauges and feeders, all running under one roof.
Alongside Kapeesh Filament, we also work through our subsidiary firms: Kapeesh Industries LLP in Silvassa and Kapeesh Knitfab LLP in Jolva.
The floor in five steps.
Partially oriented yarn arrives and is staged for texturizing.
Drawn, twisted and heat-set into DTY on our in-house lines.
DTY is knit into fabric on our high-speed circular machines.
Gauge, twist and weight checked roll to roll before it leaves.
Finished rolls packed and dispatched to buyers.
Draw-texturizing lines that convert POY into DTY: drawing, twisting and heat-setting the yarn before it reaches the knit floor.
Multi-feeder circular knitting machines running DTY into fabric at production speed, holding gauge and quality across long runs.
Every scrap our floor produces is kept, sorted and sold on. Nothing is dumped, burned or left behind.
Scrap from texturizing and knitting is collected and sold in full, so no waste is generated from our factory.
Yarn and POY that come out with an error are not thrown away. They are made into rassi (rope) instead.
The rassi is sold on to other processing houses, which process it further. The material stays in use.
